Maher Heating Inc's service contract includes a thorough annual overhaul and adjustments of your oil burner, plus a yearly cleaning of your furnace. The price of this contract is $189.95

  • Included in the annual tune-up:
    • Check and test all oil burner controls
    • Check, clean, and replace fuel oil filters and strainers
    • Clean and regulate fuel pump
    • Clean drawer assembly and replace nozzle
    • Check and adjust ignition system
    • Vacuum clean furnace and smoke pipe to chimney
    • Lubricate motor bearings
    • Test-fire for proper performance and efficiency

  • Service contract also provides for the repair and/or replacement of the following parts:
    • Air Filters (2)
    • Aqua Stat (1)
    • Blower Belt
    • Burner Head
    • Electrodes
    • Fan/Limit Control
    • Fuel Oil Pump
    • Fuses
    • Low Water Cut Off
    • Burner Motor
    • Circulator Motor (1)
    • Circulator Coupling
    • Zone Valve Motor/Relay (1)
    • Nozzle
    • Oil Burner Coupling
    • Oil Burner Fan and Turbulator
    • All Electrical Switches
    • Oil Filter
    • Oil Burner Pump Strainer (1)

  • *note: No other parts of the furnace or boiler system are covered under this plan. (see general conditions listed below)

  • Terms and Full Conditions
    1. All equipment to be inspected and approved on a yearly basis before contract is issued. The plan is also non-transferable upon sale of property and will require a reinspection with new owner.
    2. Home Heating Service Contract provides for the repair or replacement of the parts listed in this contract. No other parts of this system are covered concerning water devices. Wood and coal add-on units are not covered.
    3. All services listed are for normal usage and do not protect against floods, fires or other acts of God.
    4. This policy does not cover draining of expansion tanks, power failures, lighting, switches found in the "OFF" positions, or flooded basements.
    5. Any service required after 5PM weekdays, Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays, must be the result of complete mechanical failure of the unit.
    6. No Heat Calls are billable at our hourly rate if customer runs out of oil.
    7. The following water devices that are not covered; Pressure relief valves, water feeders, mixing valve units, elements, expansion tanks, bearing assembly, back flow preventers, flow checks, and HY-Vents.
    8. Power Venting motors are not covered due to outside weather conditions.
    9. Steam valves, automatic feeders, and sight glass are not covered.
    10. Combustion chamber repairs or replacement are not covered.
    11. Indirect and oil-fired hot water heaters are not covered.
    12. Electric thermostats are not covered.
    13. Outside oil storage tanks are not covered due to gelling or freeze-up conditions. Oil line replacement and all oil tank parts are not covered.
    14. This policy shall become void if another contractor services the heating system during the term of your contract. Our company will not be liable for another company's service or repairs made on your heating system.
    15. Payment terms: Full amount due upon acceptance of this contract. Contract will become void if customer is not current, contract is subject to cancellation and all work performed will be billed at our hourly rates.
    16. This policy does not cover any System 2000 electrical controls: manager board, sensors, etc.
    17. This policy does not cover direct-vent timer switches and/or kits.
    18. This policy does not cover any electrical part damaged by a corroded and/or a leaking water part (pipes, fittings, valves, expansion tanks, HY-Vents, etc).
