Maher Heating, Inc.'s service contract includes a thorough annual overhaul and adjustments of your gas system, plus a yearly cleaning of your system. The price of this contract is: $219.95.
- Included in the annual tune-up:
- Check and test all gas controls
- Pressure test the system
- Check, clean and/or replace the burner thermocouple and pilot orifices
- Check and adjust ignition system
- Lubricate motor bearings
- Test fire gas burner(s) to be sure that they are operating properly
- Take efficiency test to obtain maximum operating efficiency of the heating unit
- Service contract also provides for the repair and/or replacement of the following parts:
- Air Filters (2)
- Aqua Stat (1)
- Blower Belt
- Electrodes
- Fan/Limit Control
- Fuses
- Low Water Cut Off
- Circulator Motor (1)
- Circulator Coupling
- Zone Valve Motor/Relay (1)
- All Electrical Switches
- Protector Relay
- Limit Controls
- Standard Only Thermostat (1)
- Blower Motor
- Thermocouple
- Thermopile
- Pilot Assembly
- Gas Valve
- Smoke Pipe
- *note: No other parts of the gas system are covered under this plan. (See general conditions listed below)
- Terms and Full Conditions
- All equipment to be inspected and approved on a yearly basis before contract is issued. The plan is also non-transferable upon sale of property and will require a reinspection with new owner.
- Home Heating & Service Contract provides for the repair or replacement of the parts listed in this contract. No other parts of this system are covered concerning water devices. Wood and coal add-on units are not covered.
- All services listed are for normal usage and do not protect against floods, fires or other acts of God.
- This policy does not cover draining of expansion tanks, power failures, lighting, switches found in the "OFF" positions, or flooded basements.
- Any service required after 5PM weekdays, Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays, must be the result of complete mechanical failure of the unit.
- No Heat Calls are billable at our hourly rate if customer runs out of gas.
- The following water devices that are not covered; Pressure relief valves, water feeders, mixing valve units, elements, expansion tanks, bearing assembly, back flow preventers, flow checks, and HY-Vents.
- Power Venting motors are not covered due to outside weather conditions.
- Steam valves, automatic feeders, and sight glass are not covered.
- Combustion chamber repairs or replacement are not covered.
- Indirect and gas-fired hot water heaters are not covered.
- Electric thermostats are not covered.
- This policy shall become void if another contractor services the heating system during the term of your contract. Our company will not be liable for another company's service or repairs made on your heating system.
- Payment terms: Full amount due upon acceptance of this contract. Contract will become void if customer is not current, contract is subject to cancellation and all work performed will be billed at our hourly rates.
- This policy does not cover any System 2000 electrical controls: manager board, sensors, etc.
- This policy does not cover direct-vent timer switches and/or kits.
- This policy does not cover any gas-fired appliances (cook stoves, water heaters, etc.)
- This policy does not cover any fireplaces and/or decorative heating appliances.
